Food For The Spirit

Project description
Conversations on spiritual topics for all interested people (Unificationists and non-Unificationists). A fortnightly Zoom meeting on spiritual and philosophical topics of wide interest such as the purpose of life, the nature of love, in search of universal principles, the goal of civilization, what is salvation in diverse religions, dealing with trauma, spiritual community building, etc.
Participants: A mixed group of people on 4 continents – young people, blessed families and non-Unificationists.
Format: one, two or three ‘mini-talks’ (5-20 minutes) followed by free discussion. Number of speakers; length of talks; role of coordinator
Organization and planning: time slots, topic selection
Development of the project: Goals, expansion.
Cooperation: Individuals can set up their own ‘Food for the Spirit’ meetings with their friends and acquaintances. There can be an exchange of ideas and materials among various Food for the Spirit groups.

International Scripture Studies

Case study: A weekly zoom meeting with Christians, Muslims and Unificationists from Uganda, Pakistan, Lebanon and other countries, interpreting in-depth key parts of scriptures.

- Using internet and AI as a help
- Format – who coordinates? Who reads?
- Frequency and length
Development of the project: Goals, expansion
Creating a network of scripture studies circles Individuals create their own circles, then link up with other circles to exchange ideas and materials.
Perhaps monthly there could be a “big gathering” via internet to discuss progress and exchange ideas and best practices.
